![]() Ventoy can be installed on USB drive or local disk.if Ventoy2Disk.exe always fail, you can use Ventoy LiveCD, refer notes.You must copy them to the upper directory to use them. These exe files are in altexe directory of the installation package. Since 1.0.58, Ventoy also provides Ventoy2Disk_X64.exe/Ventoy2Disk_ARM.exe/Ventoy2Disk_ARM64.exe you can use them if needed. Notes: Ventoy2Disk.exe is a x86_32 application and supports both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows PC with intel/amd processor. Run Ventoy2Disk.exe, select the device and click Install or Update button. At least this worked for me, YMMV.Download the installation package, like ventoy-x.x.xx-windows.zip and decompress it. Now use dd to write the ISO to your flash drive and it should boot. Warning: The existing disk label on /dev/sdh will be destroyed and all data on this disk will be lost. Anyway, use the mklabel command to change the label from msdos to gpt. ![]() When you use dd to write the ISO to your flash drive, it does not appear to write a partition table with it so you are stuck with whatever format it had before. Open your USB flash drive with parted: sudo parted /dev/sdX I ran into this same problem and I fixed it by using parted to change the filesystem label from msdos to gpt.
